The Background:
Ivy Bank Home & Gift was started in 2019 by Jane, who was looking to use her extensive expertise in retail to build and run her own shop.
Ivy Bank Home & Gift has a huge focus on eco products and sustainability and Jane has carefully crafted her product catalogue to reflect this. She also works with a number of local suppliers within Kendal and the surrounding areas to offer lots of unique gifts and homewares.
What we did:
We worked with Jane at the very conception of the Ivy Bank project, as she was scoping out a retail premise in the heart of Kendal.
Although primarily focussed on selling through the retail store, Jane also wanted to offer a mail-order service so she could reach customers up and down the country.
We used the Shopify platform to build the online presence for Ivy Bank, but also took advantage of the Shopify POS app to allow us to run the in-store POS system.
We spent time on-site to help with the setup of equipment and training, and Jane was quickly up and running. We built the store so it can be easily managed and updated by the Ivy Bank team to help keep ongoing costs to a minimum.
As the focus on eco products and sustainability grows, the store is currently going from strength to strength and we look forward to working with Jane again in the future.
